Count Your Blessings

Thank you for the encouragement! I appreciate the phone calls and the messages that I received today. You are a blessing to me and I thank God for friends who care and more than anything else friends who take the time to call or email to SAY they care. I am blessed!! I have thought of the song that I learned many years ago at church...."count your blessings name them one by one, count your blessing see what God has done". I do have many blessings and I do feel guilty that I moan and don't forget to keep my eyes vertically toward Him instead of horizontally on me and on the world.

I am blessed that Jesus Christ died for my sins. He loves me and He does have my best interest at heart.

I am blessed to have such a loving family. My son is awesome. He has the most wonderful heart and is a mighty man of God. I prayed that God would draw Todd close to Him before Todd was even born. That has been my plea Todd's entire life. He is a man of God. I am blessed.

I am blessed to have the most beautiful, loving, talented and Godly woman for my daughter in love. God blessed my life with her. I prayed for her before I knew her. I prayed that God would bless Todd with a Godly wife who loves Jesus. God abundantly answered that prayer. I am blessed.

I am blessed to have the most precious, loving and sweet grandson in the world. I know that my whole face lights up when I see him. His precious hand feels perfect in mine and when he blows me a kiss I melt! I pray that he will be a mighty man of God and that God will protect his heart. I am blessed.

I am blessed to have friends who love me and have my best interests at heart. I have friends who are more than friends they are sisters. I have heard that a person is blessed to have 1 good friend in a lifetime. I have many wonderful friends who are Godly women. I am blessed.

Today, even though I still feel some discouragement, I am choosing to count my blessings. I could list countless more blessings. I count you as you read my story as one of those blessings.
