Little Miss Muffett

Well, I had to go to the dr again. I thought I was Little Miss Muffett and had a spider bite. A red spot came up on my stomach last week. I tried to ignore it and hoped that it would go away. Of course it didn't. I asked the nurse at the infusion clinic to look at it. I really thought that it was a spider bite. It was very red and it hurt! She said that she didn't think it was a spider bite but she didn't know what it was. She told me if it didn't get better to go see the dr. I tried to ignore it for 4 more days but by last Friday the small red spot was the size of a saucer, fire red, burning hot to the touch and very painful. So, another trip to the dr was needed. He said that I am "lucky". Lucky is actually the word he chose and not mine. Because my immune system is challenged I am susceptible to getting infections and I have a skin infection. GGGRRRRR That means I am on another round of antibiotics. MG really does not like antibiotics. He always has some kind of hissy fit when I have to take antibiotics. I have to wait to see if he will have a small hissy fit or a big hissy fit. I have been on the antibiotics now since Friday. The spot is better but is definitely still there. I hate taking antibiotics but I am grateful that I have them to make me feel better.
