The Plan

Yesterday, I talked to the pharmacist and we devised a plan. It seems that it will be months until my usual IVIG will be available again. In the mean time, I am switching to another brand. I have taken this brand before and I had some adverse side effects. It makes me have flu like symptoms. I have fever, chills, aches and generally feel just horrible. But, I don't see any other options right now. So, on Friday I am going to the local clinic to have IVIG infusion. I am accepting the advice of the pharmacist and my doctor. It is hard for me--the independent woman--to feel a little helpless in this process. God is teaching me that I have to give up control and understand that God does have my best interests at heart and He is in control of my life.

Today, I am resting in the knowledge that I got the best advice available to me. I have a great doctor who truly cares about me and my health. I have a Heavenly Father who loves me. "Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise." Proverbs 19:20
